"It wasn't so long ago that I was where you are now and I know what it feels like to be stuck and not good enough. I used to feel like every time I tried to achieve something, it was like walking through mud. I felt like I'd make progress, then get overwhelmed and procrastinate.
My mind would play tricks on me, telling me I didn't have what it takes, that no one else in my family has done this so how could I, that I suck at relationships, I'm not smart enough for business, that I'll always struggle with money, and that life is hard.
The enemy used these limiting beliefs to keep me in a stronghold of fear, lies, and despair. I went through so many personal struggles that tormented me daily and distracted me from accomplishing my business goals. I've had multiple divorces, terrible coping mechanisms for stress, abusive self-talk, and more. I went away from Christ and got deeply into the new age for over a decade, trying in vain to find a deeper meaning in life. However, I only felt more internally tormented, never at peace, and became more depressed, anxious, and at one point even had consistent suicidal thoughts.
One day, after yet another new age spiritual retreat where I still felt worse than I started, I cried out to Jesus, "Lord, I can't do this anymore. Please show me how to get out of this pain. Show me how to be free."
Up to this point, I had helped thousands of people change their mindsets, but not fully be free, because one thing was missing from my work: God.
It was then that I was called back to Christ and truly discovered a deeper relationship with Him. I had an insane deliverance experience (one day I'll tell you about it!) and God called me to bring Him into my work, teaching people how to be delivered from the enemy's strongholds, and then do their part to work on their psychology to stay free and live a life that God has for them.
Now I help Kingdom entrepreneurs dominate their industries worldwide, to make a positive impact in the world and in their personal and professional lives."
Melissa is an international speaker, certified master trainer of NLP, and executive coach for entrepreneurs, coaches, and business leaders. She holds a master's degree in Organizational Psychology and is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Christian Leadership & Digital Discipleship. She is also a pastor's wife and is active in ministry and leadership at her church.
